In clients' words
I’m very happy I went to Viola at Rise up Benefits Group for my Medicare enrollment. I was inundated with mail and way too much information. I have been with Champ VA for 9 years so it gets confusing what to sign up for without losing those benefits as they become secondary. Viola explained everything and picked out the best option for me. I highly recommend her as it made this transition very smooth.

Estimates only. Estimates only. Figures on this page use published plan-year values and the details you enter. They are not a quote, an offer of coverage, or a determination of eligibility. Your final premium and any tax credit are confirmed at enrollment with the carrier or HealthCare.gov. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us or anyone else.
An estimate is a starting point. Viola Lucero, CLTC, and the team at Rise Up Benefits Group in Chandler can look up the real figures for your situation, check your doctors and prescriptions, and explain what the numbers mean for you. We speak insurance, so you don't have to.

Your Initial Enrollment Period is seven months long: the three months before the month you turn 65, your birthday month, and the three months after. The rules are federal, so they are the same in Arizona as everywhere else.
Signing up in the three months before your birthday month starts coverage on the 1st of your birthday month.
Medicare treats you as turning 65 in the previous month, so your whole enrollment window, and your earliest coverage date, move one month earlier.
It is the six months starting the month you are 65 or older and your Part B begins. During those six months a Medigap insurer cannot turn you down or charge you more because of your health.
Not always. If you or your spouse have job-based coverage from current work, you may be able to delay Part B without a penalty and sign up later during a Special Enrollment Period. The size of the employer matters, so check before you decide.
